1. Service Description
HearMe provides AI-powered emotional support conversations delivered via web-based voice technology. HearMe is NOT a medical service, therapy provider, or crisis intervention service.
2. Not a Substitute for Professional Help
HearMe conversations are for emotional support only. They do not constitute medical advice, psychological counseling, or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
3. Gift Sessions
Gift sessions are single-use, 15-minute conversations purchased for $5. Sessions expire 7 days after purchase if unused. Expired sessions are non-refundable.
4. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly and provide unlimited sessions. You may cancel at any time through your payment provider. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
5. Privacy
We do not store conversation transcripts or recordings. We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service (names, phone numbers, session metadata). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Opt-Out
Recipients of gift sessions may opt out of receiving future gifts at any time. Once opted out, any future gift purchases for that phone number will be automatically refunded.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use HearMe for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, or to send unsolicited gift sessions as a form of spam or harassment.
8. Limitation of Liability
HearMe is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress, missed crisis intervention, or service interruptions.
