1. What We Collect
We collect only what's necessary to deliver the service:
- Gifter information: First name (required), phone number and email (optional, for re-engagement).
- Recipient information: First name and phone number (required to deliver the gift).
- Session metadata: Call duration, timestamps, and session status. We do NOT record or store conversation content.
- Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- Conversation transcripts or recordings
- Detailed conversation topics or content
- Health or medical information (crisis detection flags are stored without associated content)
3. How We Use Your Data
- To deliver gift sessions via SMS
- To process payments
- To send follow-up messages (subscription offers, re-engagement)
- To enforce opt-outs and prevent abuse
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with services required to operate HearMe:
- Stripe for payment processing
- Twilio for SMS delivery
- Vapi for voice AI conversations
- Supabase for data storage
We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
Session records are retained for 90 days for service quality and abuse prevention, then automatically deleted. Opt-out records are retained indefinitely to honor your preference.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@hearme.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
